10 longest home runs at Riders Field in 2021

RoughRiders fans had plenty of reason to go to Riders Field in 2021. We saw four of the Texas Rangers current top 5 ranked prospects spend time in Frisco and plenty of power. Home runs are among the most exciting things to see at the ballpark, especially no doubters.

The criteria of the longest home runs at Riders Field is that the home run was hit by a RoughRider and had to travel at least 400 feet. We will start with the shortest distance and go to the longest. As you will notice, there is one name that dominates this list.

Here is the unofficial 10 longest home runs at Riders Field in 2021

10. Bubba Thompson

Of all the players that spent the season with the RoughRiders, Thompson impressed me the most. In fact, he won our Most Valuable Player Award for 2021. Thompson sent the 2nd pitch he saw over the wall in left-center field leading off the bottom of the 1st inning.

  • Distance: 403 feet

  • Pitcher: Left-hander Osvaldo Hernandez (Missions)

On July 3, Huff hit a home run in Arizona while on rehab assignment that went 511 feet. The only reason this one didn’t top the list is because it was in Arizona.
