We’ve got good news for fans of College Baseball. The 2021 Frisco College Baseball Classic is being finalized as we speak but be prepared for changes as we get closer due to Covid-19.

The official Twitter account tweeted that the scheduling and date for ticket sales will be announced soon. Peak Events and the RoughRiders have an agreement in place through 2026 for the Classic to be played at Dr Pepper Ballpark. It is a fantastic event.

Here is what we know about the 2021 Frisco College Baseball Classic

Dr Pepper Ballpark will host the Frisco College Baseball Classic from March 5-7th in 2021.

The four teams that will be playing are University of Arizona, Oklahoma State University, Michigan State and University of Missouri.

The 2019 Classic was a success

We covered the event last year and were able to see players like Garrett Mitchell and Matt McLain, with UCLA up close. Mitchell was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers with the 20th pick in the 1st round. Matt McLain is projected to be a top 10 pick although anything can change between now and the draft.

The Classic as a whole was an absolute blast. Hopefully Covid won’t have a huge effect on the Classic. As soon as we have an update on scheduling and ticket sale dates, we will let you know.
