Opening Day is tomorrow for the majority of MLB teams. That means we’re getting close to minor league baseball starting, and I couldn’t be more excited. I know you are as well.

​You have probably seen the break camp rosters by now. We all have day jobs here, so it’s hard for us to put out content as soon as I’d like, but the wait is over. We now know who is going to start the season at each Texas Rangers affiliate.

​You may have noticed some prospects not included on the initial break camp rosters. Players such as two-way players Josh Owens and Seong-Jun Kim.

Others include Marco Argudin, Jack Wheeler, Elorky Rodriguez, Jacob Johnson, Kamdyn Perry, and Caden Scarborough are all likely staying in Arizona for the time being.

The following players are starting the season on the shelf:

Double-A: Sebastian Walcott - Walcott had internal brace surgery and is expected to miss a good chunk of the season.

High-A: Paul Bonzagni, Casey Cook, Kolton Curtis, Caden Scarborough, Izack Tiger

Single-A: Mason McConnaughey, Ben Abeldt
