3 Rangers that could be Trade Candidates This Winter

The Rangers will have an active offseason this winter between signing free agents, trading 1 or 2 players, maybe non-tendering some, and possible coaching changes. Chris Young and the front office have their work cut out for them this winter that's for sure. On top of that with the lockout looming next offseason they may or may not be willing to do things they aren't normally willing to do, that could be the case for a lot of teams. I am going to go over three guys that could be on the move this winter, one being a prospect if they do make a trade to acquire talent (and one isn't for sure on the move but could be for the right deal).
Adolis Garcia- I think that it is almost a guarantee that Garcia will not be with the Rangers next year, and will get traded to another team. Adolis was a huge part to the championship in 2023, but the past two seasons offensively he hasn't been up to par and it is time for the Rangers to move from him. He is also going into his age 33 season and will be a free agent at the end of the 2026 season. As far as value, he won't be worth a big package but he won't be worth nothing. We might get a lottery prospect in return, but who knows let's see what Chris Young and his crew does with Adolis this winter.
Josh Smith- I know I might sound crazy but if Cody Freeman keeps on going and this is just thinking what if they trade Smith for a catcher (maybe Adley but I doubt anyone goes to the price Baltimore would want) or a player they need and then make Cody the utility guy. Now let me say this do I necessarily want them to trade Smith no, and they won't be looking to trade him I wouldn't think. However, I don't think he is untouchable and they would move for the right player(s). I don't think he gets traded because it will take a lot I'm thinking, but they will listen on just like what every good team does.
Yeremy Cabrera- Cabrera was singed by the Rangers in 2022 for just $10,000. He has a good combination of power and speed, Cabrera has 43 steals this year. Cabrera plays a good outfield and can play all three positions. He is only 20 years old and is playing in single A so he will require time to develop before he makes his big league debut if he gets there. Cabrera got interest at the deadline and will probably get some interest this winter as well.
I would mention Jonah Helm but I don't think he has much value if any. I think he will be non-tendered, but I definitely be wrong about it.
Let me reiterate they are NOT looking to trade Josh Smith, but I do believe if they get an offer they can't refuse they will make the move. On the contrary I do think Adolis Garcia will be moved this winter.
