Hickory Crawdads

The Crawdads had a 6-0 win the RiverDogs. It was a dominant showing from Enrique Segura. The righty shoved with five scoreless innings with only two hits against him, no walks and three strikeouts. This moved his ERA under four to 3..91.

The bats were able to outhit the RiverDogs 11 to 6. Pablo Guerrero led the team in hits as he went 3 for 4. Esteban Mejia, Braylin Morel, Paxton Kling (Hickory Debut), and Maxton Martin collected the rest of the team hits as they all had two a piece.

Morel hit his second home run of the year with a two run shot in the third inning. Mejia had a RBI single.

The combination of Martinez, Cherry, and Privette were shutdown out of the bullpen as they fired four scoreless innings to close out the game.

Hub City Spartanburgers

The Spartanburgers suffered a 3-0 loss to the Cyclones. The bats struggled as they were able to scrape across four hits. Gleider Figuereo came up with three of them and Arturo Disla got the other one. It was a tough day at the plate for them as they struck out 15 times over the course of the game.

Dylan MacLean took his first loss of the year bringing his record to 3-1. He allowed three runs in 4.1 innings on six hits with no walks and two strikeouts. This brought his ERA up to 3.43.

The duo of Adrian Rodriguez and Jesus Gamez were able to keep the Cyclones off the board with 3.2 innings of one hit ball. They struck out three hitters in this span.

Frisco Roughriders

The Roughriders beat the RockHounds 7-4. Ian Moller, Jax Biggers, and Keyber Rodriguez all led the team with two hits. Biggers led the team with three RBIs with a double that cleared the bases in the third inning.

Rodriguez got the scoring started with a two RBI single in the second. Ian Moller would add on with a RBI single of his own in the second.

The Roughriders went with a bullpen game. Josh Trentadue went 2.2 innings allowing one run on five hits with two walks and two strikeouts. Ryan Lobus would get the win with 1.1 scoreless innings while allowing no hits along with two strikeouts.

Emiliano Teodo had a rough go of it in his return to Frisco. He walked the first batter then allowed a single followed by a double which allowed both runs to score. He would calm down and managed to get out of the inning without further damage by getting a pair of ground outs and a pop out. This is not what Rangers fans wanted to see from him, but it is good that he was able to limit damage.

The final three pitchers would allow one run over the last four innings with it coming against Eric Loomis. Gerardo Carrillo and Avery Weems were able to limit runs as Weems got the save.

Round Rock Express

The Express lost 3-1 to the River Cats. Cody Freeman led the team with two hits and continued his torrid pace in Triple A. Justin Foscue had the only RBI with a bases loaded walk.

Michael Plassmeyer took the loss with three runs against him on four hits in 5.2 innings with one walk and eight strikeouts. It was a good start for him, but he could not manage to get run support. Former Ranger Sam Huff took him deep.

Joe Barlow, Gavin Collyer, and Dane Acker held the River Cats scoreless over the last 3.1 innings.
