## Around the Farm 5/1/19

Welcome to around the farm. I attempt to take us around each game played in the Texas Rangers farm system from the day before.

This is around the farm 5/1/19

### News

There was another prospect of the Rangers that underwent Tommy John surgery today. [Owen White](https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.star-telegram.com/sports/mlb/texas-rangers/article229901749.html?ref=theprospecttimes.com) was drafted in the 2nd round in 2018\. He was on the de-load program that the Rangers are trying for Rookie pitchers out of high school. Maybe they need to reconsider that program.

Then there is this:

> A.J. Alexy exits with an apparent injury in the third. Sal Mendez takes over on the mound
