Will Adolis Garcia be in a different Uniform By August
If this was brought up in 2023 you would have been looked at as crazy, but after a disappointing 2024 season and a disappointing 2025 season so far it looks like it is going to become a reality. Adolis really hasn't been the same player since the World Series in 2023. He left game 3 of the World Series with an oblique strain. In 2024 he came back from that injury and was playing good to start but then him and Marcus Semien collided in the outfield and he was never the same after that. It seemed
What should the Rangers do if they buy and or sell
If the Rangers are selling- If they end up falling out of the playoff picture and out of contention by the deadline I think they should sell off the guys on expiring contracts. Guys like Tyler Mahle, Hoby Milner, Chris Martin, Patrick Corbin and maybe Shawn Armstrong will garner some trade interest. I definitely think if the Rangers sell Tyler Mahle, Hoby Milner and Patrick Corbin need to be in different uniforms I think. The Cubs I think would have some interest in Mahle, they are in need of st
First 35 Games, my thoughts.
Going into this season I know I had high expectations for this team and other fans, team staff, and people around baseball. However they haven't played as well as expected. There is plenty of time to turn it around because it is only May. Certainly the offense has definitely lived up to the expectations, with multiple key players struggling to start the year the Rangers were bottom 5 in the league in most offensive categories. The Rangers acquired Jake Burger and Joc Pederson this offseason to
No reason to freak out. My thoughts on Game one.
Most fans may look at this game and freak out because of the bullpen giving up the lead in the 9th on a 3-run home run. Luke Jackson just didn't have it tonight and that's pretty clear. He has the stuff to close some games for the Rangers and he will. He may not be the sure closer this year. I have a feeling there won't be a sure closer unless we trade for one at the Trade Deadline. It will probably be a mix of Luke Jackson, Chris Martin, Robert Garcia, and maybe sprinkle Shawn Armstrong. It wi
Evan Carter Not On the Opening Day Roster. Why Is That Good?
Some may be surprised that Evan Carter did not make the opening day roster. I am not surprised very much at all. I think it was the right decision to start him in AAA. Evan Carter missed a majority of the 2024 season due to back issues. Evan Carter was called up in September in 2023 at the age of 20, and played 23 regular season games with the club. He also played most of the postseason that year. He was a crucial part to that championship team. He was known as "the little savior". I knew from t

Rangers Fourth Week of Spring Training Recap
March 9th- The Rangers face the Arizona Diamondbacks in this one, Nathan Eovaldi is starting this one. This was not a very good game for the Rangers all around. The only run that was scored for them was on a Joc Pederson double in the 6th inning. The first 3 pitchers for the Rangers gave up 14 runs. Robert Garcia, David Buchanan, and Marc Church threw scoreless innings though. Marc Church struck out 2 hitters. The Rangers had a nightmare of a 5th inning where Codi Heuer and Daniel Missaki gave
Rangers Third Week of Spring Training Recap

Today's spring training game was against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Jon Gray started on the bump this game. Corey Seager got the Rangers on the board in this one with a 2 run home run in the 3rd inning. Then in the bottom of the 4th Joc Pederson led off the inning with a double, and after an Adolis Garcia fly out Jake Burger hit a 2 run
Where Do The Rangers Sit MLB Pipeline's Farm System Rankings?
MLB Pipeline has come out with their ranking for all 30 teams farm systems. Where do the Rangers sit in these rankings? MLB Pipeline has them at 19th. At first I thought that ranking was too low, but after I looked at some teams that were ranked above them it seems about right to me. The ranking I'm thinking took a little hit when Alejandro Rosario needed to get elbow surgery. Here is what MLB Pipeline said in the article," While injuries dropped the Rangers from World Series champions in 2023 t
Rangers Second Week of Spring Training Recap
February 23rd- Early Sunday morning we were hit with the unfortunate news that one Rangers top pitching prospect in the system also in all of baseball in Alejandro Rosario needs elbow surgery, and will miss the 2025 season. Here is a quote from Chris Young, " It's likely UCL, I don't want to officially say, but yeah, it's elbow and will probably require Tommy John." The Rangers played their third spring training game being against the Cubs. Cody Bradford started the game looking like Cody Brad
