Hickory Crawdads The Crawdads lost 3-2 against the RiverDogs. Jesus Lafalaise delivered a solid start. He took the loss as he allowed three runs on five hits with four walks and three strikeouts in 4.2 innings. Brock Porter would get the next guy out of the bullpen and he impressed. Hickory Crawdads The Crawdads had a 6-0 win the RiverDogs. It was a dominant showing from Enrique Segura. The righty shoved with five scoreless innings with only two hits against him, no walks and three strikeouts. This moved his ERA under four to 3..91. Hickory Crawdads The Crawdads beat the Fireflies 8-2. Jesus Lafalasie was the star as he fired five innings of no hit ball. He walked a pair of hitters while striking out three hitters, he was recently promoted on August 5th. He is 20 years old. Hickory Crawdads The Hickory Crawdads suffered a 7-5 loss against the Augusta GreenJackets. Yeremy Cabrera led the way for them with two hits and two RBIs. Esteban Mejia backed him up with a RBI double and a walk that forced in another run. Brooks Fowler was great in his start as he allowed one run in 5.1 innings on seven hits with just one walk while striking out one. This outing brought his ERA down to 2.86. Hickory Crawdads: The Crawdads lost 6-0 as they were only able to manage three hits against the Augusta GreenJackets (Atlanta Braves). Maxton Martin, Hector Osorio, and Pablo Guerrero each had a hit. Enrique Segura got the start and took the loss only lasting 3.2 innings while allowing three runs on a trio hits as well as a trio of walks. He struck out a pair of hitters. Grant Cherry came in next and struggled as he allowed two runs on five hits in one inning walked one and struck out three.

Hub City Spartanburgers The spartanburgers pulled out a series win as they won the finale against the Emperors 3-1. Jose Gonzalez got the win after twirling a brilliant start. Hickory Crawdads Game 1: The Crawdads won the first game of the double header 4-2 against the Hillcats and only played a seven inning game. Garrett Horn started the game and allowed two runs on four hits with no walks and three strikeouts. They got a good start out of Leandro Lopez as he threw five shutout innings allowing two hits, two walks and striking out two.
