The Frisco RoughRiders won 8-6 over the Tulsa Drillers, the Dodgers Double-A affiliate. Left-hander Cody Bradford made his 6th start of the season for the RoughRiders and 3rd on the road.
Bradford pitched five innings. The Drillers were able to score four runs on six hits and one walk but Bradford struckout a season high 10 batters.
Bradford’s 10 strikeouts is a season high for the RoughRiders pitching staff.
The Drillers found the scoreboard first scoring two runs in the bottom of the 1st and one in the 2nd for a 3-0 lead.
The RoughRiders found the scoreboard in the top of the 3rd. Blaine Crim hit a two-run double, his 6th double of the season.
The RoughRiders score 3 runs in the top of the 4th and 5th for the 8-3 at that point.
Blaine Crim hit his team-leading 7th HR of the season. That makesxhis 3rd consecutive game with a HR.
JP Martinez hit a HR, his 5th of the season. Fabian hit his 4th.
Out of the pen
Grant Anderson pitched two scoreless, allowing four hits, one wall and striking out three.
Lucas Jacobsen allowed two runs in his inning.
Fernery Ozuna shut things down with a scoreless 9th with one strikeout.
