Ex-Rangers Prospect Skole Wins Banana Ball Triple Crown with Party Animals

Jake Skole, a former Texas Rangers prospect, is excelling at trick plays and power hitting in Banana Ball. This season, Skole became the first player to hit for a cycle and has since become the first player to win the Triple Crown in Banana Ball as a member of the Party Animals.
Skole's final statistics included a .371 batting average, 15 home runs and 73 RBIs.
All told, he batted .371/.449/.657/1.106 (batting average/on-base percentage/slugging percentage/on-base plus slugging) at the plate.
While the league is all about fun and showmanship, the pitchers are still trying to strike out batters and the batters are trying to hit home runs. Skole excelled at the latter.
Part of the Banana Ball tour brought Skole and the Party Animals to Frisco where Skole spent the 2014 season and part of the 2015 season with the RoughRiders. Kind of a cool full circle moment.
The Prospect Times extends our congratulations to Jake Skole for being the first player in Banana Ball history to claim the Triple Crown.
