The Frisco RoughRiders recently unveiled their 2023 promotional schedule: an absolute juggernaut that may just top the schedule from last year. After all, it’s the team’s 20th season – it deserves something special.
The 69 home games will be a celebration of baseball, with fireworks shows and a few celebrity appearances, including Leslie David Baker – you know, Stanley from The Office.
It’s sure to be an unforgettable season, with something for everyone. So don’t miss out – pick up your tickets and join the RoughRiders in 2023!
Opening Weekend, from April 6th-April 8th, is sure to be a hit with back-to-back fireworks nights on April 6th and 7th. On April 6th, you can snag a Magnet Schedule Giveaway from Carpet Tech.
April 7th brings a 2022 Texas League Championship Poster giveaway, a pregame autograph session, and National Beer Day specials. To wrap up the weekend festivities, Saturday, April 8th will include a Pregame Easter Egg Hunt and Kids Run the Bases presented by Raising Cane’s, postgame.
On Sunday, September 1st to September 3rd, enjoy appearances from former players, a Chris Young and Josh Jung bobblehead giveaway, a 20th Anniversary Poster giveaway, and more. Plus, don’t miss the red jerseys from the 2003 inaugural season!
Riders Field is hosting a Mother’s Day theme on Sunday, May 14th. Treat your mom to a special night out and take a photo booth photo and a Crayola Experience Plano craft station, so kids can make cards for mom. Special memories to be made for sure.
Support the Beautiful Lives Project on Wednesday, May 17th. After spending the afternoon with the team, individuals with disabilities will take center stage in various roles around the ballpark. Visit beautifullives.org for more info.
On Friday, May 19th, it’s time for Dallas Zoo Night! Animal Ambassadors from the Dallas Zoo will be on-hand, and don’t miss the first pitch.
Get ready for a party on June 3rd for Lucha Libre Night presented by Los Quesos de Frisco! Professional wrestler Chavo Guerrero Jr. will make an appearance, and fans can look forward to a sugar skull giveaway at the end of the season.

On Sunday, July 9th, step into the Cretaceous Period for Dino Night. With animatronic dinosaurs, a fossil dig, and Mesozoic Era themes, it’s sure to be a roar-ing good time!
Finally, on Saturday, August 19th, it’s NASCAR Night presented by Texas Motor Speedway. Join us for racing themes throughout the game and a Texas Motor Speedway and RoughRiders cobranded hat giveaway at the gates.

Thursday’s the day for fun and drinks! Enjoy Thirsty Thursday and Rowdy @ The River presented by Twisted Tea – with $2 Twisted Tea, $2 Truly and $2 drafts. Tickets are just $25, and the price includes access to the Lazy River. Must be 21+.
Friday nights are extra special with Fireworks Fridays! And let me say, the fireworks give a good bang for your buck.
Saturday’s a great day to bring the kids out! Postgame, they can Run the Bases, presented by Raising Cane’s.
Sundays are even better with Kids Sunday Funday, also presented by Raising Cane’s! Kids get to enjoy pregame catch on the field, postgame fireworks (starting in June), and kid-centric themed events.
