The Rangers have made quite a few moves today to try and solidify their Major-League starting pitching and bullpen. One of the guys getting the call is former RoughRider, *Locke St. John*.

Locke St. John, 26, is a Left-handed pitcher who will be looking to make his Major-League Debut. He spent the first of this season pitching out of the bullpen for the RoughRiders.

With the RoughRiders he pitched in 22 games and had a rock solid earned run average of 1.52\. He was quite literally **Locke-ing** down his innings. He pitched 29.2 innings this year in Frisco before being promoted to Nashville. He struck out 42 and walked 13 and had a WHIP of 1.146.

In Nashville, St. John pitched 5 innings total and allowed 1 run on 2 hits. He walked 1 and struck out 7 and his WHIP is 0.600.

Left-handed batters in total hit for an average of .102 in 57 plate appearances. Right-handed batters have a much better average at .254 in 81 plate appearances.

Now he gets a turn in Arlington and I couldn't be happier. Congratulations.
