Relief pitcher, Nick Goody has been designated for assignment by the Rangers. In his 11 innings pitched, he allowed 12 runs, 11 of them were earned. He walked 8 and struck out 13 and he had an even 2.00 WHIP. In 10 out of his 17 appearances, Goody didn’t allow a run but a few of those times times he was getting the last out of the inning.

The Rangers signed Andrew Romine, 34, to a minor league deal on September 15th and assigned him to the alternate training site. He is making an appearance in the game tonight as we speak since Sherten Apostel left after an injury.

This the first appearance in a major league game for Romine since September 30, 2018. For his career he has a career line of .235/.291/.301/.591 and 10 home runs.
