Player of the Month: Yeremy Cabrera – ACL Rangers
Outfielder Yeremy Cabrera had a phenomenal month, hitting safely in 9 of his 14 games. Cabrera slashed an impressive .341/.444/.750/1.194, showcasing his power with 5 home runs, driving in 8 runs, and swiping 6 bases. Signed to a minor league contract in January 2022, Cabrera’s performance has been nothing short of spectacular.
Starting Pitcher of the Month: Joseph Montalvo – Hickory Crawdads
RHP Joseph Montalvo, 22, delivered outstanding results on the mound. Over 5 starts, he went 3-0 with a remarkable 1.40 ERA. Defender of the Month: Alejandro Osuna – Hickory Crawdads
Outfielder Alejandro Osuna, 21, showcased exceptional defensive skills for the Hickory Crawdads. Osuna converted all 37 total chances in the outfield, had an outfield assist, and did not commit a single error.
