The Texas Rangers welcome the San Diego Padres to Globe Life Field for a quick two-game series. Jayce Tingler, who was with the Rangers for many years is the manager and has them playing close to .500 baseball. Here is the Texas Rangers line-up 8/17/2020. The game will be at Globe Life Field and start at 8:05 PM CST.

Jordan Lyles and Mike Minor were flipped in the rotation to give Minor extra rest. So Jordan Lyles (1-1, 6.06) takes the mound for the Rangers and Zach Davies (2-2, 2.78) for the Padres.

Line-up

  1. Choo 7 – .241
  2. Santana DH – .111
  3. Frazier 5 – .317
  4. Gallo 9 – .203
  5. Solak 8 – .299
  6. Odor 4 – .151
  7. Dietrich 3 – .364
  8. Kiner-Falefa 6 – .290
  9. Trevino 2 – .375

Notice that Elvis is getting a break today as Isiah Kiner-Falefa is sliding over to short. Andrus had been the only Ranger to play every game so hopefully this break will do him some good.

I'm married with 2 boys. I love spending time with family and I recently started collecting baseball cards again. My wife gets annoyed with my baseball addiction.
