Today is Jackie Robinson day in baseball, instead of the usual day of April 14th. Each player will wear Robinsons retired number 42 on their jersey with no name.

The Rangers start a new three game series against the Los Angeles Dodgers at Globe Life Field. The Dodgers are sending right-handed pitcher Dustin May (1-1, 2.79) to the mound.

Mike Minor will be starting for the Rangers. Minor has struggled so far this season with a 0-5 record along with a 6.75 earned run average. On the positive side, he lasted 6 innings in his last start against the Mariners although they are not the Dodgers.
