Rangers Prospects That Have Gotten Interest From Other Teams

Evan Grant of the Dallas Morning News reported at 4:15 this evening that 5 of the Rangers prospects have gotten interest from other teams those 5 include Kohl Drake, Mitch Bratt, Caden Scarborough, Alejandro Osuna, and Yeremi Cabrera.
Kohl Drake- Drake was drafted in the 11th round of the 2022 MLB draft, and he bursted onto the scene last year. He struck out 148 hitters in 106 innings and opponents only hit .196 against him, he also put up a 2.29 ERA. This year Drake started 12 games for the Riders throwing 55.1 innings with a 2.44 ERA and striking out 70 hitters. He then was promoted to AAA Round Rock where he has started 3 games. Drake hasn't been as effective in AAA so far, opponents are hitting .294 off of him and he has a 5.19 ERA in 17.1 innings. I do believe Kohl will find his footing in AAA, I think he has the potential to be a middle of the rotation starter eventually in the big leagues. I would be okay with trading him or Mitch Bratt but not both. I would only move one of the two for a controllable reliever.
Mitch Bratt- Bratt was picked in the 5th round by the Rangers in 2021. Bratt has pitched well since entering pro ball, he has a career 3.20 ERA in 348.2 innings. He also done a good job of striking hitters out. Bratt also controls the zone really well and doesn't walk many hitters. Bratt draws a kind of similar comparison to Cody Bradford in my opinion, but Mitch does throw harder. I think he can eventually be a back end of the rotation starter in the big leagues. I would like for the Rangers to keep one of the two lefty pitchers if they do trade them.
Caden Scarborough- Scarborough was drafted in the 6th round by the Rangers in 2023. He had a rough first year of pro ball in 2024 where he posted a 6.97 ERA but only in 10.1 innings. This year Scarborough has found his grove, in 64 innings he has struck out 83 hitters and has a 3.38 ERA. Scarborough is one of my favorite arms in the system partly because of his huge 6-foot-5 frame. With this frame Scarborough can get good extension and his mid to high 90s fastball gets on hitters a little quicker. If the Rangers can develop him look out. I would prefer the Rangers hold on to Caden Scarborough.
Alejandro Osuna- Osuna was signed by the Rangers in 2020 for $125,000. Osuna has seen some time in the big leagues this year. The numbers say he wasn't good, but his advanced numbers show that he was better than what his actual numbers. Osuna showed good patience at the plate and played good defense in the outfield. Scouts got a good look at him when he was tearing up the Arizona Fall League, and in spring training when he was on fire. I don't necessarily want to trade Osuna but if we have to for a controllable bullpen arm I would be open to it.
Yeremi Cabrera- Cabrera was singed by the Rangers in 2022 for just $10,000. He has a good combination of power and speed, Cabrera has 35 steals this year. Cabrera plays a good outfield and can play all three positions. He is only 20 years old and is playing in single A so he will require time to develop before he makes his big league debut if he gets there.
I do believe that Chris Young will make a move before the deadline at 5pm on Thursday. I would prefer the Rangers to hold onto Caden Scarborough and at least one of the two lefty pitchers that were mentioned.
