Rangers sign Caden Scarborough, their 6th RD Pick

Yesterday, following the Wyatt Langford news conference, the Rangers announced that they had just signed their 6th-round pick, #171 overall, RHP Caden Scarborough. He is 6'5" and 185 lbs. and comes to the Rangers from Harmony High School in Florida.
The Dallas Baptist commit signed for $515,000, which is above the slot value for the #171 pick, which is $339,400. In 2023, Caden went 1-1 in 38.1 innings with a 2.19 ERA, 70 strikeouts, and a .169 OBA. He has a 96 mph fastball.
The Rangers have until 4:00 PM Central on July 25th to sign their draft picks.
