Rangers have been eagerly anticipating the promotion of Evan Carter, the top prospect. The awaited moment arrives tomorrow, on Tuesday, August 29th, as Evan Carter celebrates his 21st birthday. He will receive a promotion to Triple-A Round Rock and will join the team in Oklahoma City as they go up against the Dodgers.

It may not be the exact promotion dinner fans are going for but he’s one step closer to Arlington.

Throughout the current season, spanning 97 games with Double-A Frisco, Carter has demonstrated an impressive performance, boasting a batting line of .284/.411/.451/.862. He has hit 12 home runs and driven in 62 runs. His versatility shines through various aspects of his play, including stealing 22 bases, drawing 74 walks, showcasing his throwing accuracy, and making remarkable defensive catches. His on-field presence is consistently captivating.

The Rangers selected Carter in the 2nd round of the 2020 draft.
