Last nights game was played almost in San Antonio in 101 degrees at gametime and went into extra innings where Frisco scored 4 runs in the 12th inning and held on for a 10-7 win.

For 8 innings Frisco got great pitching from 3 pitchers where they had a 4-1 lead going to the bottom of the 9th. Closer Fernery Ozuna (BS, 3) went 2/3 of a inning allowing 3 runs on 4 hits allowing the tying run to score sending the game into extra innings.

In extra innings both teams scored 1 run in the 10th and 11th inning! Top of the 12th Frisco finally breaks open the game with 4 runs Josh Stowers singled in ghost runner Jax Biggers followed by a sac-fly from Dustin Harris scoring Stowers. Then a RARE a 2-run sac-fly from Blaine Crim scored Trey Hair and Kellen Strahm making the score 10-6.

Pitcher Josh Smith (W 2-0) allowed a run in the 12th but hung on for the win.

Frisco’s starting pitcher Zak Kent went 3 innings 2 hits 3 strikeouts before being replaced to start the bottom of the 4th after throwing only 39 pitches. They are easing him back into the rotation since coming off the IL.
