1.Sebastian Walcott

Walcott had a solid year as he posted a .255 batting average in a full season of double A work. He had 13 home runs with 59 RBIs and 32 stolen bases. His batting average did come down a bit from the previous year, but this year he played against Double A for longer.

Walcott is still 19-years-old and has a lot of room for growth. By this time next year he should have played in Triple A and there could a possibility he could be with the big league team.

2.Gavin Fien

Gavin Fein was the Rangers' first round pick in 2025. He was solid for the Hickory Crawdads as he hit .220 with no home runs and seven RBIs. Those numbers don't pop off the page, but it is to make the switch from high school to minor league baseball.

He had some really good exit velocities and that is usually a good sign of things for a young player. There should be more patience with Fien, but he is an exciting young player.

3.Jose Corniell

Corniell did not pitch much this season with only 38 innings and he missed the entirety of 2024 with Tommy John Surgery. He made the most of his innings this year as he dominated double A with a 0.45 ERA in 20 innings.

He was solid in Triple A with a 3.65 ERA before earning a call up to the big league team. It didn't go great with the Rangers with him posting a 16.20 ERA in 1.2 innings. However, this is still a massive win for him to even get playing time with the big league team.

4.Winston Santos

Santos didn't pitch much either this year just logging 17.1 innings between Double A and Triple A. He struggled in Frisco with a 7.90 ERA, but was able to turn it around with a 2.45 ERA in Round Rock.

Like Corniell, it is good to see him pitching this year and able to perform well.

5.AJ Russell

Did not pitch, 2nd round from 2025 draft class

6.Alejandro Rosario

Did not pitch in 2025 due to Tommy John Surgery

7.David Davalillo

Davalillo was one of the breakout stars for the minor leagues. He was great with sub three ERAs in high A and Double A. He threw 107 innings between the levels and showed that he has potential to be in the big league rotation when he comes up.

8.Caden Scarborough

Scarborough was the other breakout star for the Rangers' minor leagues. Scarborough had a 2.88 ERA in low A then he was shut down in high A as he didn't allow a run there in 13 innings. He threw 88 innings between both of those levels, he had 95 strikeouts compared to 19 walks.

9.Josh Owens

Owens played eight games with the Hickory Crawdads and there were some growing pains as he only hit .83. He was the third round pick of the Rangers' 2025 draft class.

It is normal for guys to struggle when they first start in the minors, so don't set off the panic alarms on him just yet.

10.Elorky Rodriguez

Rodriguez is just 17-years-old and is not supposed to make his MLB debut until 2030. Don't let that distract you from the fact that he tore up rookie ball. He slashed .337/.473/.506 with six home runs and 48 RBIs.

He is a name to keep an eye on for the future and it should be exciting to see how he progresses.
