The Hub City Spartanburgers Week in Review

The Hub City Spartanburgers, the high A affiliate if your Texas Rangers, have made it through their first full week of games and are about to have their first ever official home game of the 2025 season tonight. Crawdads’ Offense Comes to Life in Series Split

The little engine that could started to sputter to life as the Crawdads’ offense started to put some runs on the board in the 4th and 6th game of the home opening series against the Jersey Shore BlueClaws. Even though the offense

Today’s loss was fueled by 4 Crawdad errors leading to all 4 runs being scored by the Emperors as the pitching was stellar, but the defense fell short behind the guys on the bump. Aidan Curry finished the day going 4 innings giving up 4 runs (all unearned) on 5 hits with 2 walks and 5 strikeouts. Rome got the scoring started in the bottom of the 1st as Adam Zebrowski singled home Kevin Kilpatrick Jr., after Kilpatrick Jr. reached on an err

Crawdads Shutout 4-0 in Season Opener at Rome

The 2024 season started out in the worst way possible, being shut out. The bats were extremely quiet as Owen Murphy (Braves No. 5 prospect) was perfect the first time through the lineup striking out Cameron Cauley, Sebastian Walcott, and Tucker Mitchell in the first inning. Murphy went on to pitch 6.2 scoreless innings on 2 hits to accompany his 8 strikeouts. Winston Santos was electric through 5 innings giving up 5 hits, 1 run, 2 walks, and generating 5 strikeouts, but his line doesn’t tell the
