Texas Rangers make two more minor league signings

The Texas Rangers have made two additional minor league signings according to their transactions page. The Rangers have signed free-agent right-hander Mason Thompson to a minor league contract and assigned him to Triple-A Round Rock. For Thompson, it’s a homecoming; the 27-year-old is a native of Round Rock. Thompson was drafted by the San Diego Padres in the third round of the 2016 draft. Thompson made his Major League debut with San Diego on June 22, 2021, against the Los Angeles Dodgers. H
