Texas Rangers Arizona Fall League Prospect Tracker: Daily Stats & Notes

​The Texas Rangers' presence in the Arizona Fall League (AFL) was immediately impacted by an early injury development. Top prospect Sebastian Walcott (INF, No. 4 prospect overall/Rangers No. 1) participated in the Surprise Saguaros’ first game on Oct. 6 but has since been shut down because of arm fatigue.

In his single Fall League game on Oct. 6, Walcott went 2-for-4 with 2 RBIs and 2 runs. One of his hits was a triple, and both hits registered exit velocities over 100 mph (104.1 mph and 110.1 mph).
