David Ortiz Jr. recently signed with the Texas Rangers, securing a signing bonus of less than $50,000 along with a student scholarship as part of his contract which brings the value to around $225,000.
At just 17 years old, Ortiz Jr. is already showing great potential. He stands at 5’11” and weighs 225 pounds. Ortiz Jr. both bats and throws from the left side.
Ortiz Jr. is currently positioned as a first baseman and outfielder, hailing from Santo Domingo, NC, in the Dominican Republic.

Ortiz Jr is likely to begin his professional career playing in the Dominican Summer League.
