Frisco Roughriders

The Roughriders beat the RockHounds 6-4. Julian Brock led the team with hits as he recorded three including a RBI single. Jax Biggers was right behind him with two hits, one of them being a three RBI triple in the seventh inning that gave them the win. Frainyer Chavez also had two hits.

Leandro Lopez got the start and had a rough go of it as he only recorded one out. He allowed three runs on three hits with two walks and no strikeouts. He struggled with his command as he threw only 18 of his 35 pitches for strikes. The bullpen would do some heavy lifting as Daniel Missaki would put together 3.2 scoreless innings with a pair of hits, two walks and four strikeouts.

Larson Kindreich was the next guy out of the pen with two scoreless innings of his own. He allowed no hits, one walk and struck out four. Bryan Magdaleno would get the win allowing one run on one hit in two innings with two walks and four strikeouts.

Wilian Bormie would lock down the save with a shutout inning with one hit, one walk and one strikeout.

Round Rock Express

The Express pulled out a close win 1-0 over the River Cats. Ben Anderson had a great start with five scoreless innings while allowing three hits, one walk, and struck out three.

The bullpen would have his back with Jake Latz being the first guy called upon. He threw two great innings with only one hit against him while striking out three. It shouldn't take too long for him to make it back to the major leagues.

Jose Ruiz threw a scoreless inning with one hit and one strikeout. Craig Kimbrel would get the save with a clean inning with no hits or walks and one strikeout.

The one run that the Express got on the board came in the fourth inning off the bat of Richie Martin who brought Trevor Hauver in. He had two hits. Cody Freeman led the team with three hits as he went 3 for 3. Freeman is a candidate to get called up soon if the Rangers want a spark or see themselves on the outside looking in.
