Game

Frisco (35-33, 73-63) took an early lead, scoring three times in the bottom of the first. Luis Mieses singled to drive in two runs, followed by an RBI single from Keith Jones II, making it 3-0. In the second inning, Cauley extended the lead to 4-0 with his first home run of the day, a solo shot down the left field line.

Northwest Arkansas (33-35, 66-71) began their comeback in the fourth with an unearned run, and then tied the game at 4-4 in the sixth on a two-run single from Daniel Vazquez.

With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth and a single needed to complete the first cycle in RoughRiders franchise history, Cauley stepped to the plate.

Following a Marcus Smith double, Cauley hit a towering two-run home run down the left field line off of Ethan Bosacker (6-4) to secure the walk-off win. It was his third multi-home run game of the season, and he finished the day 4-for-5 with three RBIs and three runs scored.

Ryan Lobus (7-3) earned the win for the Riders, getting the final two outs of the ninth inning and stranding the bases loaded.

This season finale was a fitting ending to a year that saw the team set a new attendance record and host Banana Ball.

The season flew by, and while it may not have allowed for as many in-person viewings as one might have liked, it was a talented team that provided memorable moments. Thank you for the memories, Frisco. See you in 2026!
