Hub City Spartanburgers

Caden Scarborough continued his scoreless stretch in High A, but that wasn't enough as the Spartanburgers lost 3-1 to the Emperors (Braves). His final line was no runs on 3 hits in 4 innings while walking none and striking out 4.

Brooks Fowler couldn't keep the scoreless streak up as he allowed 2 runs (1 earned) on 3 hits in 4 innings while walking four and striking out 3. Jesus Gamez would allowed 1 unearned run on no hits and 1 walk.

The offense could only muster three hits. Maxton Martin, Paxton Kling, and Luke Hanson all logged hits. Martin was responsible for the only run as he hit his second home run of the year.

Frisco Roughriders

The Roughriders ended up losing to the RockHounds in 10 innings 8-7 after Emiliano Teodo threw a wild pitch. He ended up walking two hitters and throwing that wild pitch without recording an out.

Gerado Carrillo allowed a pair of runs in ninth inning on 3 hits with 1 walk and 1 strikeout. Joey Danielson would have a scoreless inning allowing one hit and getting a strikeout.

Thomas Ireland allowed 2 runs on 2 hits with 2 walks while racking up 2 strikeouts in 3 innings. David Davalillo allowed 3 runs on 2 hits with 2 walks while he got 6 strikeouts in 4 innings.

Keith Jones and Theo Hardy both led the team with two hits each. Hardy would have two RBIs as he drove them in on a double.

Sebastian Walcott had a big game as he launched his 13 homer of the year and it was a two run shot. Luis Mieses hit a two run homer of his own and it was his 14 home run of the year.

Round Rock Express

The Express lost 10-6 to the Isotopes (Rockies) as the pitching couldn't get their bats under control. Cory Abbott had a rough go of it allowing 5 runs (4 earned) on 10 hits with no walks and 5 strikeouts.

Gavin Collyer was charged with the loss. He allowed 2 runs on 3 hits with 1 walk and 1 strikeout. Robby Ahlstrom would have a difficult outing too only recording one out while surrendering 3 runs (2 earned) on 2 hits with no walks or strikeouts.

Peyton Gray would throw 0.2 scoreless innings only giving up one hit.

Dustin Harris, Cooper Johnson, and Alan Trejo all led the team with two hits. Johnson led the team with two RBIs, Trejo and Harris both had a RBI each. Harris' RBI came off his 11 home run of the year.
