Also, right-handed pitcher Ronny Henriquez was promoted to the Hickory Crawdads. I learned this from Tepid on Twitter so I went and looked him up. This kid will be 19 in June and he has amazing stats.
He played in the Dominican Summer League in 2018. In 58 innings he allowed 10 earned runs, walked 8 and struck out 79. He had a WHIP of 0.776 and averaged 12.3 strikeouts per 9 innings. We will certainly keep track of this progress.

Frisco RoughRiders (8-7)
The RoughRiders finally completed the suspended game from April 7th. They lost 6-2 in 11 innings with Jairo Beras getting the loss.
In the regular scheduled game the Riders lost 7-6.
The line from Emerson Martinez (4.70) was interesting. He pitched 5 innings, allowed 2 runs on 7 hits, 1 walk and 10 strikeouts.
Yoel Espinal (1-2, 7.88) got the blown save and the loss. He pitched 1.1 innings and allowed 4 runs on 2 hits, 3 walks and a strikeout. One of the hits he gave up was a home run.
Wei-Chieh Huang (1.86)pitched 1.1 scoreless innings allowing 2 hits and striking out 2.
Line-up
Charles Leblanc went 3-5 with 2 RBI and 1 strikeout. He is hitting .393.

AJ Alexy (0-3, 5.84) got the start and the loss for the Wood Ducks. He pitched 4.2 innings and allowed 4 runs on 5 hits and 1 walk. The strikeout pitch was working though as he mowed down 8 batters.
Alex Eubanks (5.23) pitched 2.1 scoreless innings. He allowed 1 hit, 2 walks and struck out 3.
Peter Fairbanks (2.08) pitched 1 scoreless inning allowing 1 hit and struck out 1.

Diosbel Arias has been hot recently. He went 1-3 with and RBI and struck out 2 times. His average is at .327 for the year.
Ryan Dorow was 0-3 with 2 RBI, including a Sac-fly. He struck out once as well and is hitting .239 on the year.
Catcher Yohel Pozo went 2-4 and is hitting .200 on the year.
Hickory Crawdads (10-4)
The Crawdads fell to the Columbia Fireflies (New York Mets) 4-3.
