Cameron Cauley gets the call up to Frisco

Texas Rangers 2021 3rd Round Pick Cameron Cauley is being called up to Double-A Frisco! The former Texas Tech commit has displayed his abilities this season hitting for power, flashing the leather, and stealing bags along the way. This year in 96 games Cauley has hit 15 long balls and swiped 27 bags, only being caught 3 times. The only real hole in Cauley's game at times is his swing and miss rates. His batting Average for the year is .240 and has an OPS of .739. Obviously, the club feels like

Pure Dominance from Degrom in Rehab Start in Frisco

Pure Degrominance Jacob Degrom took the mound Saturday night in what is likely to be his final rehab start on his journey rehabbing his arm from Tommy John  in June of last year. Degrom was in full force Saturday night as he had his longest outing so far on the year going 4 innings. He notched 5K's on the night, 3 Swinging and 2 Looking. The only "hit" he allowed on the night was on a ball that was taken by the wind and misread by Mateo allowing Fedko to get a faulty double. His Fastball sti

Kumar Rocker made his Second appearance for Triple-A Round Rock on Friday night where he faced the Las Vegas Aviators Although it wasn't as dominant as his first start, he was still plenty dominant in the outing showcasing his abilities. He's continued to make a name for himself throughout this entire rehab stint recovering from Tommy John in May of last year. Rocker peppered the strike zone once again topping out at 99.3 in the process showcasing that powerful Fastball/slider combo. The Rig

Rocker Dominant in debut for Triple-A Round Rock

Kumar Rocker made his debut last night for AAA Round Rock, and to say he was good would be an absolute understatement. After showcasing his stuff in Frisco and having a microscopic  ERA of 0.46, he picked up right where he left off with the longest outing of his season. Rockin Around In Round Rock His first Triple-A opponent would be the OKC Dodgers who would have a rehabbing Yamamoto starting for them but would have Kumar Rocker seamlessly steal the show as he blew away his opponents with eas

Rangers Announce July Minor League Award Winners

Blaine Crim - Player of the Month The 27-year-old 1st basemen really found his swing in July slashing a whopping .453/.561/.656. Going up to bat and getting on base better than once every 2 at bats is an astonishing stat in today’s game. He also added in 9 XBH driving in 15 along the way. Another stat to highlight is that he walked 17 times and only struck out 11. If the bat stays hot in August I wouldn’t be shocked if we see him as a September call-up this year. Mitch Bratt - Starter of the M

Rangers Send Top 2 2024 Draft Picks To High-A Hickory

The Texas Rangers are sending 2024 1st Round Pick Malcolm Moore and 2nd Rounder Dylan Dreiling to High-A Hickory to make their pro ball debut tonight. Moore, the 30th overall pick out of Stanford is known for his bat, not necessarily his glove. Moore slashed .288/.399/.958 in his collegiate career. Most notably has also had a keen eye at the plate, and in 2024 walked more than he struck out. I’m sure the Rangers are hoping his high exit velocity, low whiff rate and great numbers vs the Fastball
