Tuesday Morning, Baseball America put out its top 100 Prospects and there’s some new Rangers in new places in the top 100. Emiliano Teodo Starting off at No. 97 is RHP Emiliano Teodo. Long Awaited Return Last night was an exciting night down in Frisco as Rangers pitcher and 2x CY Young award winner Jacob deGrom made his much anticipated season debut where he was making his first rehab start since getting Tommy John in June 2023. DeGrom had been having bullpen sessions and threw to live hitters last week on his road to recovery. Blaine Crim - Player of the Month The 27-year-old 1st basemen really found his swing in July slashing a whopping .453/.561/.656. Going up to bat and getting on base better than once every 2 at bats is an astonishing stat in today’s game. He also added in 9 XBH driving in 15 along the way. The Texas Rangers are sending 2024 1st Round Pick Malcolm Moore and 2nd Rounder Dylan Dreiling to High-A Hickory to make their pro ball debut tonight. Moore, the 30th overall pick out of Stanford is known for his bat, not necessarily his glove. Moore slashed .288/.399/.958 in his collegiate career.
