After initially taking the winter off, Blaine Crim has signed to play again in the Liga Beisbol Profesional Roberto Clemente (LBPRC) for the Indiod de Mayaguez.
During the 2021-22 campaign with the Indios de Mayaguez, Crim slashed a line of .406/.452/.594/1.046 with 3 home runs, 25 RBI and took home the league batting champion title.
Crim became the first US born player since 1948-49 to win the batting title and the .400 batting average mark.
Crim is going back to help the Mayaguez in the playoffs.
Blaine has been one of the most consistent hitting prospects in the Texas Rangers organization, hitting at each level. He was drafted in the 19th round in 2019 and has hit a line of .305/.368/.519/.887 with 61 home runs and 224 RBI.
