25-year-old left-handed pitcher Cody Bradford, a 2019 sixth-round draft pick out of Baylor University, has been named the Pacific Coast League Pitcher of the Month for April.

Bradford, a native of Aledo, Texas, went 5-0 with a 0.64 ERA and 25 strikeouts in 28.1 innings pitched in April. He also had a 0.74 WHIP.

This is Bradford’s first season in AAA after spending last year in AA Frisco. In 26 starts for Frisco in 2022, Bradford went 10-7 with a 5.01 ERA, 114 innings pitched, 114 hits allowed, 33 walks, and 124 strikeouts.

Bradford is not currently on the Texas Rangers’ 40-man roster, but he has made a strong case for a promotion to Arlington with his recent performance.

Congratulations to Cody Bradford on his award from The Prospect Times on your award!
