Frisco loses 2-1 to the Missions

Last night’s great pitching matchup between Frisco’s Owen White and San Antonio’s Reggie Lawson lived up to the anticipation.

Right-hander Owen White went 6 innings, 5 hits, 1 run, 1 walk, 6 strikeouts! Six innings was the deepest outing for White in his three AA starts. Owen White for the month of July in 2 starts 11.1 innings, 5 hits, 1 run, 1 walk, 11 strikeouts.

Reliever Triston Polley (L,0-1) 1/3 of a inning 1 hit 1 run 2 walks and the Hit by Pitch that cost Frisco the game tonight!

In 6 games Triston has gone 6.2 innings, 1 hit, 6 walks, 7 strikeouts before giving up last nights run.

Lone Run

Frisco’s lone run of the night came on Blaine Crim’s grounder bringing in Dustin Harris from 3rd! Dustin, who doubled and moved over to 3rd on Justin Foscue grounder.

Frisco had only 4 hits on the night with 2 hits from left fielder Dustin Harris.

Tonight the RoughRiders will look to get back into the win column after winning 3 in a row prior to this loss. They will play game 4 of this 6 game series against San Antonio. First pitch is set for 7:05 PM Central.
