On July 30th, the Texas Rangers made several promotions within their farm system, advancing a number of promising young players to higher levels of competition.
Each of these prospects earned their first promotion to the next level, having delivered strong performances this season.
Mitch Bratt to Double-A Frisco RoughRiders
Mitch Bratt, the top ranked left-handed pitcher in the Texas Rangers system, has been promoted from High-A Hickory Crawdads to Double-A Frisco RoughRiders.
Bratt has shown impressive control and strikeout ability, posting a 6-4 record with a 3.03 ERA over 77.1 innings. He has issued just 16 walks while striking out 84 batters across 17 games (15 starts).
Arturo Disla to High-A Hickory Crawdads
First baseman Arturo Disla is making the jump from Low-A Down East to High-A Hickory. Standing at 6’2″ and 240 lbs, Disla brings significant power to the plate. The Dominican Republic native, who was signed out of Wayland Baptist University, has posted a .281/.359/.438/.797 slash line with 11 home runs and 50 RBIs this season.
Izack Tiger to High-A Hickory Crawdads
Right-handed pitcher Izack Tiger, a 7th-round pick in the 2023 draft, has been promoted from Low-A Down East to High-A Hickory. Tiger has shown solid performance in limited innings, recording a 2.37 ERA with 38 strikeouts and a 1.088 WHIP over 30.1 innings between the ACL Rangers and the Down East Wood Ducks.
Yeremi Cabrera to Low-A Down East Wood Ducks
Center fielder Yeremi Cabrera, 19, has been promoted from the ACL Rangers to Low-A Down East. Cabrera has been impressive at the plate, slashing .301/.438/.571/1.009 with 9 home runs, 39 RBIs, 40 walks, 42 strikeouts, and 17 stolen bases over 49 games.
Pablo Guerrero to Low-A Down East Wood Ducks
Pablo Guerrero, the 18-year-old son of Hall of Famer Vladimir Guerrero, is advancing from the ACL Rangers to Low-A Down East. In 51 games, Guerrero has hit .301/.367/.522/.889 with 7 home runs, 38 RBIs, 18 walks, 63 strikeouts, and 1 stolen base.

- SS Frainyer Chavez assigned to Round Rock Express from Frisco RoughRiders.
- OF Luis Mieses assigned to Frisco RoughRiders from Hickory Crawdads.
- Hickory Crawdads released RHP Jackson Leath.
