The Tulsa Drillers used four pitchers combined to hold the Frisco RoughRiders to two hits today in a 7-2 defeat.
Frisco starter Avery Weems (L,1-3) went 4.2 innings giving up 6 hits 3 runs 7 strikeouts Avery was relieved by Kevin Gowdy! Kevin had a rough day went 3 innings 5 hits 3 homers 4 runs 2 walks and a strikeout! And Chase Lee continues to have a great start going 1/3 of a inning just throwing 4 pitches and 3 were for strikes!
RoughRiders hitters had a rough day at the plate. Jonathan Ornelas hit his 3rd home run of the season, a solo shot!
Ezequiel Duran had the other hit today. The RoughRiders other score came in on a wild pitch! Another note is that Dustin Harris worked three walks!
The RoughRiders move to 17-12 but still have a two-game lead over Amarillo and look to end this two-game losing streak tomorrow.
