Minor League Baseball teams heavily rely on creative promotions to help drive attendance. The Frisco RoughRiders are one of the best at creating an engaging promotional schedule to help get fans to Riders Field.

The Frisco RoughRiders are currently in the early stages of planning their promotional calendar for the 2026 season. We were able to confirm that several popular fan favorites will return.

The full, official promotional schedule is slated for release in early February, though the wish list of many fans, including myself, still includes a dedicated $1 hot dog night. I think every team needs to have $1 hot dog night.

Expected 2026 Promotions

Daily Promotions

Recurring weekly themes familiar to RoughRiders fans are expected to return:

  • Thirsty Thursday
  • Fireworks Fridays
  • Kids Run the Bases, presented by Raising Cane’s, on Saturdays
  • Kids Sunday Funday, presented by Raising Cane’s, on Sundays

Alternate Identities

The schedule is anticipated to feature the return of the team's popular alternate identities for select games:

Themed Nights

Co-branded nights with other local sports teams are expected to make a return.

Additionally, the RoughRiders are planning to dive into some nostalgia throughout the season.

The 2026 Minor League Baseball season can't get here quick enough.
