Today’s loss was still a great game by Nick Solak and Jose Trevino.

Solak had a phenomenal game today. He doubled in the second and scored a run, singled in the fourth and scored a run, and doubled in the sixth and scored. This was his third three-hit game and his eleventh multi-hit game of the year.

Another fantastic game was had by Trevino. He had an RBI double in the second, advanced Solak to second on a ground out in the fourth, had an RBI ground out in the sixth, and a base hit to right in the eighth. He framed well, blocked well, and called out to his other players when he had the best eye on a pop out.

The Rangers lost to the Astros 8-4. They move on to Seattle for an 8pm CST game tomorrow.

(Altuve left the game in the third, reportedly from soreness in his knee after a slide.)
