The Spartanburgers’ bullpen was lights-out, with Joey Danielson, Dylan MacLean, Larson Kindreich (W, 3-0), and Wilian Bormie (S, 2) combining to keep the shutout intact.
Cook’s Clutch Hit Delivers
In the top of the 9th with two outs, Casey Cook delivered the game’s only run, smacking a 2-1 pitch for an RBI single that scored Anthony Gutierrez. Cook finished 2-for-4 with the lone RBI, while Gleider Figuereo also went 2-for-4, providing the offensive spark in a tightly contested game.
