The 2022 Arizona Fall League Championship game was a thriller that went into extra innings and the Surprise Saguaros came out on top. They won by a final of 7-6 in 11 innings over the Desert Dogs.
This was the Saguaros third championdhip but first since 2013 when they faced the Mesa Solar Sox and won in shutout fashion by a final of 2-0. They also won in 1995 when they were known as the Mesa Saguaros.
