Owen White, Duran & Foscue have strong AFL

The Surprise Saguaros needed a win against the Desert Dogs to make it to the Arizona Fall League Championship game. They sent Rangers right-hander Owen White to the mound- who without question was the best pitcher in the AFL (he won pitcher of the year). White didn't disappoint and earned the 5-3 win to send the Saguaros to the Arizona Fall League Championship game. Surprise Saguaros lose two in row to the Desert Dogs

The Surprise Saguaros (13-7) have been playing winning baseball except for the last two games they've played against the Glendale Desert Dogs (12-8) who now sit one game behind the Saguaros. Both teams are 6-4 over their last 10-games played. The Desert Dogs won the Thursday game by a final of 5-2 and then won 8-6 on Friday. Sam Huff excelled in Saguaros win over the Rafters

Sam Huff excelled in the Surprise Saguaros 4-2 win over the Salt River Rafters today. He finished the game going 3-4 with an RBI and a walk. He reached base four times. The Saguaros handed the ball to right-hander Zach Haake (Royals) to start the game. He pitched a solid 3.2 innings and gave up one hit, issued two walks and struckout three.
