Minor-League baseball is getting closer and a 2021 Minor-League baseball season is a lot more realistic. Schedules for each team were released yesterday. The Hickory Crawdads 2021 schedule was released along with the Triple-A Round Rock Express, Double-A Frisco RoughRiders and the Low-A Down East Wood Ducks. Triple-A has a schedule consisting of 142 games while Double-A and Single-A will each play 120. Each series will start on a Tuesday and end on Sunday. Mondays will be an off-day to allow fo
2021 Minor League Affiliates For The Texas Rangers
The new year also brought some new shake-ups to the Texas Rangers Minor League system. Most notably, the Rangers regained the right to the Round Rock Express, who will be the team's Triple A affiliate for the season. They had previously been in this position from 2011-2018. Spokane Indians are losing their affiliation with the Rangers
The Texas Rangers are losing their affiliation with the Spokane Indians due to the contraction and reassignment of minor league teams. I don't believe that this has officially been announced but it is expected. In 2018, the Spokane Indians and the Rangers agreed to a two year extension through the 2020.
