The Rangers lost the series opener by a final of 7-4 to the Seattle Mariners. There were errors committed and not enough runs scored which seems to be common place for the Rangers who now have a 10-15 record. Ranger things happened during their 10-6 loss to the Rockies. With this loss the Rangers fall to .500 ball with a 10-10 record. They have 40 games to play to try and make the expanded post-season. The Rangers failed to take advantage of the gifts the Angels provided in the bottom of the 2nd inning but Joey Gallo powered the Rangers to a 2-0 win.
