According to reports, the Rangers 1st round pick in 2019 had a really strong showing at the Alternate site and at the Instructional league. That’s a big deal, especially since the whole minor league season was lost. In 2019, between the Arizona Rookie-League and Hickory, Jung hit a line of .316/.389/.443/.831 with 2 home runs and 28 RBI. He’s got good bat speed and is projected to hit 25+ home runs per season. In Hickory he had a .989 fielding percentage. Jung seems to be on the fast track to the Majors and is the 3rd baseman of the future for the Rangers.
