In 7 games played between the Arizona Rookie League and the Spokane Indians he hit a line of .316/.458/.526/.985 with 1 home run and 2 RBI. I saw Wendzel in person at the Futures Camp in Frisco. He was lined up at the shortstop position. He is versatile enough to play multiple positions and has an above average arm for the infield. In fact, he’s played every infield position and played 10 games in the outfield for Baylor in 2017.
