The Texas Rangers announced the initial roster of players assigned to each of their minor-league affiliates. The list of players heading to Hickory to start the season is impressive and includes eight of the Rangers’ 30 top prospects including #8 RHP Owen White, #9 Evan Carter, # 10 Luisangel Acuna, #12 Aaron Zavala, # 14 Ricky Vanasco, #15 TK Roby #19 Trevor Hauver and #28 Thomas Saggese. Last year the Hickory Crawdads went 46-68. They should improve upon that record this season. Here is the Hickory Crawdads 2022 roster.

The 30 players include 16 pitchers, 3 catchers, 7 infielders, and 4 outfield fielders.
