Willie Calhoun activated and Heineman optioned to alternate site

Willie Calhoun has been activated from the IL and Scott Heineman was optioned to the alternate training site. Willie has been on the IL from a left hamstring injury for about a month. Prior to going on the IL, Calhoun was slashing a line of .172/.206/.224/.430 in 18 games with no home runs.
Heineman was sent to the Alternate site in the corresponding roster move which keeps Eli White and Leody Taveras in the line-up. In his 24 games he has slashed a line of .154/.185/.269/.454 at the plate.
