Yesterday, Peak Events, LLC, in partnership with the Frisco RoughRiders, announced the lineup for the 9th annual Frisco College Baseball Classic. This much-anticipated Classic is set to return to Riders Field from February 28th to March 2nd, 2025.
The 2025 lineup boasts some of the nation's top teams, including the 2023 National Champions, LSU. Joining them will be the University of Nebraska, Kansas State University, and Sam Houston State University.
Each day will showcase two exciting games, with the final day featuring the announcement of the All Tournament Team, voted on by the media.
Having covered the Frisco Classic since 2020, I am continually impressed by the caliber of this tournament.
The quality of the teams, the talent of the players, the expertise of the coaches, and the passion of the fans all come together to create a first-class experience.
Over the years, we've seen many players who competed in the Frisco Classic go on to be drafted, such as Asa Lacy (A&M) in 2020, Garrett Mitchell (UCLA) in 2020, and River Town (DBU) in 2021, to name a few.
This year we may see players like Jurrangelo Cijntje or perhaps Payton Tolle, who has won the Frisco Classic MVP and is a two-way player.
Don't miss out on what promises to be another spectacular event in 2025!
