7/13/25 Farm Recap

Hub City Spartanburgers
The spartanburgers pulled out a series win as they won the finale against the Emperors 3-1.
Jose Gonzalez got the win after twirling a brilliant start. He went five innings allowed no runs on six hits only allowing one walk and struck out five.
The bullpen was great behind him as they combined for four innings allowing one run on two hits with two walks and a strikeout.
The offense took a while to get going, but they were able to get on the board in the sixth inning with Arturo Disla’s second hit of the game which was a RBI double to bring in Gleider Figuereo. Casey Cook would add on as he hit his own RBI double to bring Disla in.
The emperors would cut the lead to one, but Dylan Dreiling would put them away with his eighth home run of the year.
Hickory crawdads
The Hickory Crawdads suffered a 11-2 loss to the Hillcats.
It all fell apart in the seventh inning when Aneudis Mejia started the inning, when he left the game he had allowed six runs while only recording one out. He had trouble with his command as he walked three hitters and had a couple of wild pitches. This command also had him let up three hits.
Michael Trausch didn’t have much better luck as he allowed a pair of runs while only getting one out. Luke Savage finally got out of the inning and would go 1.1 innings overall allowing one run.
It wasn’t a good game for the Crawdads, but on the bright side former top prospect Brock Porter pitched a scoreless inning without allowing a hit or walk and struck out one hitter. Of his 11 pitches he threw 7 for strikes that is good to see for his command.
Esteban Mejia collected one of the Hickory runs as he hit his second home run of the year. The other run came on a throwing error from Hillcats pitcher Xavier Martinez on a ball that Hector Osorio put in play.
Frisco Roughriders
The Frisco Roughriders defeated the Sod Poodles 9-1. A five run fourth inning put the Roughriders in the driver's seat. Abimelec Ortiz led the way for the team going 4 for 5 with a RBI and three runs scored. Ortiz also hit his 12th home run of the year.
Cam Cauley and Josh Hatcher both had two hit games. Hatcher had three RBIs while Cauley had a run scored.
Trey Supak was great in his start throwing six scoreless innings allowing three hits, walking one and struck out seven. Ryan Lobus came in after him and pitched a scoreless inning and allowed a pair of hits.
Avery Weems would allow a pair on a pair of hits, but every out that he recorded was a strikeout. Gerardo Carrillo would end the game with a scoreless ninth with a hit and walk against him and struck out a pair.
Round Rock Express
The game was postponed due to rain.
