Tyler Phillips is one of my favorite pitchers in Frisco. He wears the stirrups and throws strikes. He breezed through Down East on his way to Frisco. In 37.2 innings he walked 6, struck out 28 and had a WHIP of 0.903 in Down East. Things in Frisco haven’t come quite as easy. In 75 innings, his ERA is 5.52 and he has walked only 15 and struck out 58.

Right handed batters have hit for an average of .264 with an OBP of .304, SLG .456 and OPS .761.

Left-handed batters are hitting for a .247 AVG, .285 OBP, .405 SLG and a .690 OPS.

Jonathan Hern?ndez is one of my favorite RoughRiders. Who am I kidding, I like them all but seriously, he is one of my favorites. It may be a down year for him but the guy competes. Hern?ndez has been moved to the bullpen as of late but can be used an opener as well. He was sharp in his last outing with a WHIP of an even 1.00.

I’ve seen others like, Bahr, Phillips and Hern?ndez multiple times but I haven’t seen Wiles.

Wiles came from the Arizona League to Down East to Frisco this year. He has not pitched more than 3.2 innings in Frisco.
