Texas Rangers prospect, Cody Freeman has been named player of the week in the South Atlantic League.

Freeman, 21, was the Rangers 4th round pick in 2019 from Etiwanda High School. He is a versatile infielder playing Catcher, Third base and 2nd base.

For the week he hit for a .429 average,  with 6 hits, 3 home runs, 10 RBI and 1 stolen base. That's an excellent week.

So far this season Freeman has slashed a line of .243/.325/.457/.782 with 5 home runs and 19 RBI.
